Butler County services remain limited in wake of cyberattack

Butler County services will remain limited on Wednesday due to a ransomware attack on the county’s computer network, officials announced late Tuesday night.

All offices will be open, but services requiring the use of a computer will be limited.

“The primary goal of the county is to get limited motor vehicle, driver’s license and register of deeds operations up by the end of the day (Wednesday),” a statement released by the county said.
