Floodwaters had receded in northern Leavenworth County, but flooding continued along Stranger Creek in the central part of the county, according to a spokeswoman for Leavenworth County Emergency Management.
Leavenworth County remained under a flood warning Thursday, but the warning was scheduled to expire in the evening.
Following heavy rains Monday night and Tuesday morning, Stranger Creek flooded.
The creek reached 21.11 feet Wednesday morning at Easton. The creek reaches its flood stage for this area at 17 feet, according to the National Weather Service.
