Salina’s efficiency efforts paying off

In 2012 the city of Salina started the Continuous Process Improvement for Cities plan to make city services more efficient and cost effective. It is the only city in Kansas using the CPI. A four-year assessment was presented to the Salina City Commission during a study session Monday.

Total net CPI benefit 2012-2018

• 2012 through 2016 = $2,882,448

• 2012 through 2018 = $5,394,604 (projected)
