Manhattan promotes Cattell to fill retiring Davis’ director job

The Manhattan city government has named Eric Cattell as its new director of community development, effective Monday.

Cattell has been the city’s assistant director for planning for the last 18 years.

He is replacing Karen Davis, who retired Friday after more than 35 years with the city. She spent the last 20 year as director.

City manager Ron Fehr said he’s pleased to have Cattell lead the department.
