A bomb threat was called in Monday afternoon to the city of Salina’s water department in the City-County Building, but the threat was determined not to be credible, and the building was not evacuated, a police department spokesman said.
After the call came in at 2:45 p.m., the building was searched for explosives, said Capt. Mike Sweeney.
Sweeney said the incident remained under investigation.
