Derby development manager Taylour Tedder takes assistant city manager position in Leavenworth

Derby Development Manager Taylour Tedder announced last week he will be stepping down from his position after accepting an assistant city manager position at the City of Leavenworth.
Tedder, a native of Olathe, has worked for the City of Derby for the past three years as Management Assistant and then as Development Manager. He said his career goal is to eventually become a city manager.
“We will miss him,” Derby City Manager Kathy Sexton said. “He has a fantastic opportunity to be Assistant City Manager in Leavenworth, and I will keep in touch with him as his career progresses.”
