Derby residents who participated in an annual survey on city performance were largely positive of the city’s leadership and services, according to results that were shared last week with City Council members.
Greg Victors, assistant to City Manager Kathy Sexton, said this year’s survey lined up fairly closely with those in the past, which was largely a good thing.
The consistencies included a 78 percent rating on water quality being good or excellent, 96 percent feeling safe with Derby Fire and Rescue and 93 percent feeling reasonably or very safe in their neighborhoods after dark.
Victors added that zero survey respondents said they didn’t feel safe in their neighborhoods.
