Lindsay Mills, Main Street director, will move ahead with the application to create a historic district in downtown El Dorado as the City Commission requests the Planning Commission give its input on a historic district.
Mills first appeared before the City Commission two weeks ago to talk to them about the plan, then returned Monday evening to further address the issue.
One of the things the Commission had told Mills they wanted was to hear what property owners thought.
Mills sent out a survey through her e-mail list, receiving 33 responses, with 32 in favor and one needing more information before deciding if in favor or not.
