

The Kansas State Historical Society is currently doing an informal survey, looking for unusual water towers in the state that may have some sort of historical significance.
The Dodge City Daily Globe reported four water towers in the state have been listed on the register. They are the 1927 Hillsboro water tower, the Florence water tower built in the mid-1880s, the 1913 Highland water tower, and the 1938 WPA water tower in Paradise.
