

The Kansas Logistics Park in Newton, whose main tenants include Tindall Corp, and New Millennium, both wind energy companies, will see 2.3 million dollars in infrastructure improvements thanks to the KDOT T-Works program. The grant includes money for both road and rail improvements at the facility. No doubt that Newton’s Public Works Director Suzanne Loomis played a huge role in this.
It is gratifying to know that those on the state level view Newton and Harvey County as partners in growing the Kansas economy,” Newton Mayor Ken Hall said in a news release. “This project is the result of a shared vision and willingness to make proactive investments for our future.”
